My Dearest Amy

See this pretty girl? Ya, she's hot. Her name is Amy. She is my cousin.

With her living in Cali and me living in Arizona we hardly have time to see each other! Lucky for me, she kinda likes me... So she tries to visit as much as she can!

Amy is starting her first year of college and won't be able to come to my farewell talk or my open house likely before I leave on my mission... SO! She came to visit and say her goodbye's for 18 months. Geez, I love this girl like a sister!! <3 I hope she has so much fun at college. She is so smart and beautiful! She has so much potential and will do amazing things! I can't wait to see her when I come back from my mission! Love ya cuz!! <3

Last Day Of Work- Friday the 13th

Oh my goodness. I can't even begin to explain how much I love to work with children. I have worked at a preschool (on and off) for over 2 years. I quite enjoyed working there. It is NEVER a dull moment while working with children. Exhausting, yes. But very rewarding and fun!

Last day of work... For 18 months!! Crazy! I miss the kiddos already!

Oh my gosh! Either the people I worked with are really going to miss me... Or they want me to get really fat since I'm leaving them.  Gosh I'm going to miss them! xoxoxo
They made cheesecake brownies and cookie monster cake just for me!! <3

My Momma

Have you ever seen the show Gilmore Girls? It is one of my favorite TV shows! I have watched it since I was young. It really shows the love and friendship of a mother and her daughter (as you can see in the picture above). My mother and I have often said while we would watch that show that our relationship would be close just like Lorelai and Rory's. Life often changes. Teenagers get grouchy. Parents get divorced. The once, close and lovable relationship drifts apart. But people can decide to change. Forgiveness is an important thing to remember. Doctrine and Covenants 98:39-47 really helped me to remember that we are all human. We all do things in our life that we think is best even if others don't. We all judge. But most important, it helped me to understand that judging is not okay. The Lord wants us to forgive again and again. I am so grateful for the scriptures being in my life. The scriptures are there for us when we need them. They have lessons that we can learn from. They are there to help us. I am also grateful for families. No matter what the situation is, your family is stuck to you. In the end you will be there for each other. I am so happy that my mother and I are able to begin to have a close and happy relationship again. She is so funny and knowledgable. I am able to learn so much from her.

My Puppy.

About a year ago, my beautiful puppy and I were separated. Today I had the wonderful opportunity of seeing her again before I leave for 18 months. Boy, I sure do miss her... I'm glad that she's doing well! My beautiful Lily dog. <3

Fossil Watch :D

My mother decided to get my sister and I an amazing birthday present! Have you ever heard of a Fossil Watch? Let me tell you something... They are beautiful. Sparkly. Professional. An accessory that everyone needs! Luckily for us we know a young man who works at Fossil. He was able to help Heather and I choose the PERFECT watches. Afterwards we all went out to eat at Oregano's. Poor Seth, he wasn't much up to eating due to getting his wisdom teeth taken out the day before... But Heather, Seth, and I were able to all take a pretty snazzy picture together with our Fossil watches :)

Happy Birthday To ME! Woot, woot!

September 1st was my 20th birthday. Can you believe it?? I am now 20 years old. Man how time has gone by. It is incredible. I definitely do NOT feel 20. I think this will be a good age. I am growing up and learning a lot.

I think I look a little different... Luckily. Haha
Watching Scooby-Doo on my birthday with my girls! :)

My darling friend <3

My friends and family helped me to have such an amazing 20th birthday. Thank you to everyone who was able to spend time with me and help me to have such an amazing day <3

August 28th!

My darling sister Heather had her 17th birthday on August 28th! She is beautiful and one of my best friends! I am so happy that I was able to spend the day with her on her birthday this year! I will miss her so much on her 18th birthday, but I know she will have an amazing year when she finally graduates from high school. She really has grown up into the prettiest and smartest girl that I know. I am so glad that I have been able to spend 17 years with Heather and was able to watch her grow up. Love ya sis!! <3
